Original Item: One Only. This is a classic Bavarian Fireman's Black Steel Helmet with profuse all brass mounts. Helmet plate bearing a large "T" in shield to center, surrounded by Axes on either side amid Oak leaf decoration and with ribbons to top and bottom. Reads; " Einer fur Alle, Alle fur Einen. (Translates from German to English to mean: "One for All, All for One").

Substantial Brass Helmet "Crest" with side brass side panel supports and "Lion Head" ear bosses. Helmet comes complete with original black leather liner, appears complete but somewhat detached and original black leather, brass mounted, chin strap still present. A very nice original helmet with brass trim around front and rear brim, like most WW1 era German Helmets this is on the small side which, once again, underscores the advances in nutrition over the last century. A wonderful display piece in excellent overall condition.
