New Made Item: This is what is so often missing from all those G.I. "Bring Back" Classic World War One German Spiked Leather Picklehaulben Helmets. IMA now offers an adjustable black leather chin strap with two buckles and two ?ring? type connectors that fit over the Cockade Studs which sit near each ear on either side of the helmet. Although considered a chin strap, these were most often worn tight across the front peak of the helmet, as can be seen in countless WW1 era photographs. Because there was some variation in cockade stud size, these Ring Connectors have been manufactured with a slightly smaller center hole so some fitting may be necessary to ensure a snug fit.
