The monastic coat is a very flattering shape that can be worn as a long shirt or cardigan. The wool we have used is soft and long wearing. The coat features a grandpa collar, buttons through the centre front and is loosely fitted in the bodice. The skirt has box pleats that give it a wide hemline which makes it a very feminine shape. This is a great style for wearing over dresses, skirts or leggings. Wear it open for a long cardigan look.
